Manley Wine Lodge is the perfect venue to host your special day! Our wedding and function venue includes an onsite beautiful consecrated chapel (that looks like it belongs in a movie), a wonderful multi-beamed ceiling hall spilling out onto wide-open lawns and breath taking panoramic views of the mountains and vineyards, and large outdoor space offering versatility to ensure your event is unique and a once in a lifetime experience.

The Ceremony

Our non-denominational wedding chapel is used regularly for both church services and weddings. It seats up to eighty people and is the perfect setting for the perfect ceremony. Should you have a larger number of guests, or simply prefer to tie the knot outdoors, we can arrange a garden wedding under a canopy on the lawns, with the majestic backdrop of the Winterhoek mountains.

The Reception

The Estate’s multiple venues offer a variety of options to suit your every need.
Our beautifully designed Reception Hall, with its fascinating multi-beamed ceiling and expansive patio extending onto our wide green lawns, provides a great venue for the most adventurous wedding celebration. It will accommodate just over a hundred people for a sit-down meal, as well as a dance floor. Beneath the Reception Hall lies our Cellar Room, a large arched space that makes a great venue for a more cosy and intimate wedding reception, seating up to forty people in comfort.

Accommodation

We have nine luxury rooms and can accommodate up to twenty-two guests at a special discount rate for your wedding weekend. Manley is a working, award-winning wine farm offering guests the opportunity to stay, enjoy fine wines, eat well and relax all year round in some of the most beautiful scenery in the Western Cape

 

The Bridal Suite

You have the choice of using one of our luxury thatched cottages, or our spacious bridal room with a fireplace and luxurious full bathroom. The four-poster bed was specially made by local craftsmen, while the other furnishings have been selected to give the whole place an indulgent and deeply relaxing atmosphere.

The Package

  • Your wedding package includes the following:
  • Venue hire, including the use of the Chapel
  • Table layout according to your floor plan
  • Tables
  • Chairs with white covers
  • Cutlery
  • Crockery
  • Glasses (wine & champagne)
  • Ice buckets & stands
  • Cleaning of venue
  • Previous day set-up
  • Co-ordinating of your wedding on the day

Organisation

Booking Procedure: Reservations should be made in writing, and will be confirmed in writing via email. A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your date for the venue hire. The primary function invoice must be paid 30 days before your function.

Bar: No liquor may be brought onto the premises, except for white wine & bubbly (where we will levy a modest corkage fee). Only Manley Wine Lodge red wines may be used at your function.

A Cash Bar will be available during your function at a fee of R1500-00.

Catering: We can arrange the catering, or you may make use of your own professional caterer.

Hours: Evening functions must be vacated by 24h00. A fee of R1 000-00 will apply for every hour, or part thereof, after 24h00. Morning functions must be vacated by 15h00 unless arranged with management.

Liability: Manley Wine Lodge will take every precaution for the safety of your personal items and equipment, but will not be liable for any damage or loss of any items or equipment used, or of any items brought onto the Estate.
